Initial Training for K–5 Leaders, Elementary Literacy Program (digital) or ELAR (print), half-day (3 hours)
Prepare to implement and support Amplify Texas Literacy instruction in your schools! Learn how the Amplify Texas Literacy (digital) or ELAR (print) Program supports students to build literacy skills in the early grades and move between reading, writing, speaking and listening, and language activities in the upper grades. Understand the purpose of the program (Skills, Knowledge, and Integrated Strands) and identify components of the design principles within lessons. Participants will begin creating an action plan to support communication and change management related to staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
